We are thrilled to announce Martin Gates as a new addition to our Magnum York and Associa family. Martin will be part of the Calgary branch as a Senior Condominium Manager and joins Magnum York with 15 years of property management experience, working with local brokerages in Calgary.

Over 20 years ago, Martin’s first property management experience began when he purchased his first condominium, where he jumped at the opportunity to understand more about his corporation and ultimately joined the Board of Directors. After a 5 year tenure on the Board, Martin further educated himself and began a career in property management. This experience was invaluable to understanding the perspective of being a Board member by serving his own complex for many years.

During this time, Martin gained valuable insight on how to successfully work with Condominium Corporations, Home Owner Associations, and Community Associations. He brings a practical perspective, strong work ethic, and knowledge of legislation and governance which will benefit the clients he will serve as well as the Magnum York team.

I have been amazed with the technology that Magnum York incorporates in their management services and how everything is tied together.  A real team approach to property management for board and owners.

Martin Gates – Senior Property Manager, Magnum York

With this experience, Martin was granted his Condominium Manager’s license and looks forward to completing his RECA (Real Estate Council of Alberta) certification with our team. As a Senior Condominium Manager, Martin will not only take management of some of our high profile highrise buildings in the Calgary portfolio but also lend his years of wisdom to our condo management team.

When Martin is not providing condominium management services, he enjoys hiking and astronomy. Please join us in welcoming Martin as a valuable addition to the Calgary team!
